The Abbey Lane Student Council is made up of students from second to fifth grade. The current faculty advisors are Mrs. Wenz, Mrs. Bartolomeo and Mrs. Graham. The student council consists of an executive board, as well as at least two class representatives and an alternate from each class. The students council members meet, organize and run a different event monthly. We run many events through the year to help support charities. We have supported March of Dimes, Autism, and Treats for Troops. We are especially proud of our involvement with John Theissen’s organization which brings toys and joy to children who are currently in the hospital. We are currently holding a food drive for the Wisdom Lane Food Pantry. The Student Council works closely with several other committees and programs including the P.T.A. and Get-A-Voice. Our goal is to give the children the opportunity to give back to both our school and our community.
