In April, Kindergarteners were introduced to basic addition and subtraction concepts.

April was a short month due to our "spring recess," but it was full in terms of continuing our great learning and growing in first grade.

The second graders have been reading the novel Charlotte's Web by EB White. We have been working on comprehension strategies and how the characters in the story respond to major events and challenges.

Lee Road's music classes have been hard at work during the month of April. Kindergarten and First grade students have been reinforcing the use of their singing voices with various echo songs, and even singing short solo lines.
