It's Back to School time at Lee Road - we certainly hope that everyone had an enjoyable summer! We would like to extend a warm welcome to the new families and faculty members that have joined our Lee Road Family this year. We look forward to working together with everyone as we plan many wonderful and exciting activities for the children.

The PTA is here to enhance your child's experience at Lee Road through FUN and educational programs. We encourage everyone to join the PTA because your financial support will help us to continue our current programs, as well as introduce new ones for the children. We hope you'll join today, if you haven't already done so. Membership forms [if needed] can be found on our membership page or here. Together we will make this school year a memorable one!

We hope that you will consider becoming involved in the PTA as well. As a start, attend one of our monthly meetings - it's a great way to meet new people, learn about upcoming school events, and hear important updates from your Principal and teachers. Everyone is welcome!

In addition, maybe you've heard about a committee that really interests you or your child/ren -consider joining it - there are so many committees in need of volunteers. If you are a 'take charge' person, becoming a committee chairperson might be the right role for you. Don't worry if your time is limited, being a volunteer on a committee for even two hours over the course of the school year can be a BIG help. Browse our Committee Definitions section when you have a few moments - it will provide the necessary details for our various committees. PTA parents make a statement to their children that they are interested in their education and studies show that children whose parents are involved perform better as well.

As your PTA Co-Presidents, we are here to answer any questions or concerns that you might have - no concern is too big or small. We also encourage your comments or suggestions.
